presenters

Step 1: Confirm the presentation date and time.

We’ll contact you via email to confirm your presentation day and time. Please reply to the email to confirm your presentation date and time by Friday, April 24.

Step 2: Confirm the presentation title and abstract.

Your presentation slides must replicate the title and abstract initially submitted and accepted by the fintech_devcon team.  Should you have corrections and/or minor changes to the title or abstract, please submit those corrections to [email protected] by Friday, April 24. Please note: Your approved title, objectives, and abstract will be available online to all registered conference attendees. 

Step 3: Submit your bio, headshot, and company logo.

Please send your headshot (under 1 MB), short bio (approx. 150 words), and company logo to [email protected] by Friday, April 24.

Step 4: Register for the conference.

Please register for the conference using your unique registration link to ensure the registration is fully complimentary. Through the registration form, you’ll agree to the terms and deadlines outlined by the presenter compliance agreement. Please aim to register by Friday, April 24. The final deadline to register is Friday, May 8.

Step 5: Submit presentations and software for a content review.

Please submit your presentations to [email protected] using the fintech_devcon presentation template provided. Only for workshops: you must also submit any required software downloads, repos, or other prep assignments related to your session. Submit no later than Friday, July 3.

Step 6: Required to book lodging at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel.

The speaker is responsible for booking their hotel. The conference rate for the hotel is $269+ per night and this rate will expire July 13. Don’t forget, you’re invited to attend the speaker-only dinner on the evening of Tuesday, August 4. We recommend you plan to arrive at the hotel no later than 3:00pm MT on Monday, August 3, and depart the conference no earlier than 4:00pm MT on Wednesday, August 5. Book no later than Friday, July 3. 

Conference attire

Because this is a developer conference, there is no required dress code. We kindly ask you to please be respectful and refrain from wearing any offensive or inappropriate clothing.

Conference check-in and badge pickup

Please check in at the conference registration desk to pick up your badge and other conference materials.

Session rehearsal & prep

For keynotes, we will schedule a rehearsal for you, and we ask that you arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled session. For all other speakers, please plan to arrive at your session 15 minutes prior to your presentation time and bring your presentation on your laptop. If you do not wish to bring your own laptop, please contact us so we can make arrangements. 

Bring to the conference

Please bring your laptop and your final presentation (unless you’ve arranged otherwise).

Speaker graphics

We will send your custom speaker graphic via email after we receive your headshot. We ask that you use these graphics on your social channels to generate excitement for your session.
