Roadblock Title:
JSON on The Streets, SFTP in The Sheets
Time:
Tuesday - 2:00 PM (Tower D)
Abstract:
We spent months perfecting a world-class REST API, only for our first major bank partner to ask: ‘So, where do we drop the CSVs?’ This is the story of how we swallowed our pride and built a sophisticated SFTP engine that treats 50-year-old tech like a first-class citizen—without losing our minds or our modern architecture.
Learning objectives:
- The “Legacy Bridge” Architecture: How to build a robust SFTP ingestion and distribution layer that feeds directly into a modern API-first backend.
- Automating the Archaic: Techniques for managing PGP encryption, SSH keys, and file-polling at scale without manual intervention.
- Negotiating Tech Specs: How to guide FI partners toward more modern standards while maintaining the “reluctant” support they require to close the deal.
