Abstract:

In 2025, one of your fastest growing user bases will be AI agents. These agents will autonomously interact with your system to extract data and perform operations. For some companies, this represents a threat that needs to be controlled. For others, it’s an opportunity to allow customers to interact with systems in a novel way.

In either case, you need to govern how AI agents interact with your fintech systems, and APIs are the key. APIs will determine what resources AI agents have access to, how they can access that data, and what they can do with it. Your API needs to be understandable by agents, feature-rich enough to support their tasks, and robust enough to handle automated traffic at scale.

In this workshop, Adrian will walk through how to build and manage AI-agent-ready APIs that can be product-ready within a week and offer practical insights for developing fintech APIs that accommodate AI agents.

Adrian Machado is a Staff Engineer at Zuplo and an open-source contributor. He has spoken at notable conferences like API World and Plug&Play Incubator, and brings a wealth of knowledge in API design and building secure systems.
