Roadblock Title:
Designing AI Products People Trust With Their Money
Time:
Wednesday - 11:30 AM (Tower C)
Abstract:
Building AI-powered products in finance means designing for a user who is skeptical by default — and has every reason to be. AI development is fast-paced. Models improve weekly, capabilities shift overnight, and the features you shipped last quarter might already feel outdated. Designing for trust in that environment is a different problem than most product teams are used to. This talk unpacks what I learned shipping AI-powered features — from negotiation agents to intelligent approval flows. It’ll cover how to design for adoption when the ground is shifting under you, why trust is harder to earn when the stakes are financial, and what it actually takes to get people to let AI touch their money.
