Roadblock Title:

Where Most Ledgers Break and How to Avoid These Pitfalls

Time:

Wednesday - 2:00 PM (Tower C)

Abstract:

The next generation of financial products will move money across fundamentally different settlement systems — Fed master accounts, blockchains, traditional bank accounts, and rails that don’t exist yet.

A robust and resilient ledger shouldn’t need a rewrite every time the payments landscape shifts. New rails and financial primitives should slot in — not blow up your architecture.

The companies that win will be those that build (or adopt) a single ledger layer capable of tracking, reconciling, and reporting balances across all of these systems in real time, rather than stitching together bespoke integrations after the fact.

While ledgering may not be the sexiest topic, this talk will focus on making the subject tangible and interactive based on previous internal talks at Lithic.
