Roadblock Title:
Incorporating Real-time Stablecoin Settlement Into Existing Fintech Infrastructure
Time:
Tuesday - 1:00 PM (Tower C)
Abstract:
Anyone who tells you they’re an expert on exactly how stablecoin payments will play out is lying. After 8 years building stablecoin infrastructure, I can tell you the space has far more expert salesmen than true experts. Stablecoins genuinely simplify global, real-time payments in ways legacy rails can’t, but anyone who has actually integrated them knows they create plenty of new problems in the process. This talk breaks down what it really takes to integrate stablecoins into real-time payment flows end-to-end: blockchain and stablecoin selection, key management and custody, on/offramp providers, orchestration layers and what they do and don’t abstract away, finality and chargeback handling, onchain fee management, and wiring it all into your existing ledger and compliance infrastructure.
