Roadblock title:

Organic engineering skills development: Creating growth-minded engineering teams

Time:

Wednesday - 2:00 PM (5th floor - Manchester F)

Abstract:

The growth of engineering teams is not just a goal but a necessity for staying competitive and innovative.

This session will begin by exploring the critical role of feedback in personal and team growth, discussing strategies for both giving and receiving feedback that’s constructive, timely, and actionable.

The conversation will then pivot to the importance of making commitments to continuous improvement, both at the individual and team levels, and the ways in which these commitments can be effectively integrated into daily work habits and long-term career planning.

Lastly, we will discuss how we implemented a culture of knowledge exchange among peers that has led to more innovative problem-solving and a stronger sense of community within the team. Along the way, we will look at lessons learned and results from Praxent.
