Workshop Title:

IBM on Kubernetes: A Guide to Real-Time Payment Infrastructure

Time:

Wednesday - 10:30 AM (Tower B)

Abstract:

Real-time payments represent the future of account-to-account transfers in the US, poised to supplant traditional ACH in the coming years. However, these new solutions rely on long-established technologies like IBM MQ and Connect:Direct—tools designed for traditional on-premises infrastructure that pose distinct challenges in modern cloud environments.

This talk demystifies the path to production-ready, containerized deployments of these products in Kubernetes clusters, enabling reliable connectivity to The Clearing House’s RTP network and the Federal Reserve’s FedLine Direct service suite.

Attendees will leave with actionable insights to modernize their infrastructure and manage enterprise software in a cloud-native way to access the world of real-time payments.
