Roadblock Title:

Real Lessons from Fighting ACH Fraud (and How to Apply Them)

Time:

Tuesday - 2:00 PM (Tower C)

Abstract:

ACH fraud is rising as stolen bank accounts are used to load digital wallets with small ACH pulls that later reverse, creating losses. This roadblock talk breaks down how fraudsters bypass KYC, use sleeper accounts, exploit NACHA rules, and link compromised bank accounts through shared devices, VOIP phones, and patterned emails. I’ll share practical methods to detect patterns, gatekeep at onboarding, use device and behavioral signals, and act fast with bans and freezes to stop ACH fraud before it scales. All of it from my personal experience of building products.
