Workshop title

Enabling data privacy, payments, and analytics with an API

Abstract

Businesses need to store sensitive data like names, emails, credit card numbers, and banking information to support features like account creation and payments. Keeping sensitive user data out of your application database, data warehouse, and analytics is critical to reducing the risk of a data breach and ensuring compliance with requirements like data residency and PCI. But sometimes you might need to aggregate this data to share with third-party systems or collaborate across teams and data silos so you can execute workflows and glean business insights.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll build an interactive demo that supports account creation, money movement, and analytics by using an architectural pattern known as a zero trust data privacy vault. The vault architecture de-scopes data privacy, security, and compliance from existing infrastructure and systems so you can protect sensitive data while still using it. Learn how you can build modern systems that support the full data lifecycle while preserving data privacy.
