Roadblock Title:
Breaking the rules: Overcoming challenges in building a real-time payment gateway with OPA
Time:
Wednesday - 11:30 AM (Windows)
Abstract:
In modern financial systems, ensuring both security and efficiency in credit card transactions is critical. This session explores how Torpago integrates Open Policy Agent (OPA) with its payment gateway to enforce real-time fraud detection and dynamic funding rules. We’ll walk through our implementation of Just-In-Time (JIT) Funding, where transactions are evaluated against custom business rules before approval, ensuring robust fraud prevention without impacting legitimate transactions. Attendees will gain insights into the technical architecture, including how Golang, PostgreSQL, and real-time monitoring enable low-latency decision-making.
